SOME WORDS HAVE SAME SPELLINGS BUT DIFFERENT MEANINGS:

The words that are spelled the same but their meanings are different are known as contronyms. People always get confused between these types of words. For example the meaning of oversight is to watch over at something. But the other meaning of this word is not noticing something. This means that oversight is the contronym. TOTAL NUMBER OF WORDS IN OXFORD DICTIONARY ARE 600,000:

In Oxford Dictionary, there are more than 600,000 words. And these words are made only from 26 alphabets. The first dictionary was introduced in 1604. In that dictionary, there were only 3,000 words. But with the passage of time, words started increasing.

YOU CAN’T USE I BEFORE E IN SOME SPECIFIC WORDS:

If you will use I before e in some specific words then it will be a violation. These words are seize, weird, neither, either, foreign, sovereign, forfeit, counterfeit, leisure, heifer, protein, height, sleight, feisty, seismograph, and kaleidoscope. If you will dismiss the position of e and I then your spellings will be considered as wrong.

WORDS WITHOUT SINGULAR FORM:

We always notice that all the words have two forms that are singular and plural. But there are some words in English that have no singular forms. These words are trousers, pants, alms, pliers, scissors, doldrums, and shorts. If you will write them singularly then your spellings will be considered as wrong.
